Hints for changing your BIOS Settings, more details via the external links at the end of this document.
To get to the computer's BIOS screen, watch for a message when the computer is turned on which tells you which key to press for BIOS settings. Often this message is towards the bottom of the screen and it will usually be F2 or ESC.
To change the boot order so that you can network boot, use the arrow keys to naviage to the menu labelled Boot. If there is a line
PXE Boot to LAN [Disabled]
Then change this to Enabled.
Under the section marked
Boot Device Priority
there is a list of the devices your computer can boot from. Make sure the network card is listed above the hard-disk. You may want to make a note of your original settings before changing this. You may need to look up the system name for your network card.
To change the boot order so that your computer boots from its harddisk, use the arrow keys to naviage to the menu labelled Boot.
If there is a line
PXE Boot to LAN [Enabled]
Then change this to disabled.
Under the section marked
Boot Device Priority
Make sure the hardisk is listed before the network card.
