Logging in - what you need

To access the Internet from the CMS laptop network, you will need one of the following.

An eduroam token This is recommended because once configured it will work at any university that supports eduroam and you won't need to log in each time you start up your computer
A Raven password All Cambridge staff, students and long-term visitors should have one. How to collect your computer account details.
A UniOfCam ticket Ask CMS or INI Reception for one.

Use a wall-port which is marked with a sticker or an orange cable as part of the CMS laptop network. Ask for help if you cannot find one. Other wall-ports will not work.
If you have configured your device for eduroam it should Just Work. If not then please consider configuring your laptop for eduroam to make it easier to connect to the Internet when visiting other universities in future
If you were redirected to this page when trying to browse the web from the wired network, your computer is configured correctly and plugged into a laptop network port. You need to Authenticate via Raven or use a ticket
Collect your Raven password online if you have a registration code
If you do not have a Raven password or registration code, please speak to your local Computer Officer.

Network boot your laptop (wired connection required) - test or install Ubuntu or run various hardware tests
